I would agree that genetics and environment (mainly the type and amount of light as well as the growing method/medium) are the biggest contributing factors to yields... I do contribute a lot of my success to the nutrients though.
I probably sound like an AN sales rep I've said it so many times but I don't ever check or adjust my pH and I've never had a bad grow using the pH Perfect nutes... Not that I think other nutes can't achieve the same results, just not as easily. Yeah I would say the sheer amount of light with the combination of LED, HPS and Plasma lighting was the biggest factor in getting that kind of yield... His tag is @Mr ganjamoto but he hasn't been around in over a year.thats my point though @pop22. ganjamoto (the current indoor D/P Auto record holder as far as i can tell) didnt keep any of his grow conditions perfect. none of them. he mentions it himself quite a few times throughout the grow. im pretty new to all this and will apoligize if im wrong but i 100% reckon, from nothing other than logic, that its the lights. he used so many different lights on so many different spectrums that ran on so many different light schedules.
why hasnt anyone else pulled a kilo from one of these indoors?
because they havent done that!
nobody in their right mind would try and replicate it. he never meant it himself. the next biggest after his is half the size. the only thing he did differently that nobody else has done or can do, is... the lights.
im no jedi and will happily bow down to greatness if im wrong but can anyone suggest another reason why ganjamotos monster was twice the size anyone else can pull? .......
ive also just spent half an hour trying to tag him. anyone got his tag. it would be a humbling honour to hear from the great one himself
Yeah I have the S&P TD-100XS... it's pretty quiet, my LED light makes more noise than the exhaust fan... It works well in my 4x2' tent but is a bit undersized for my 4x4'. The TD-150S would be better suited for that size space.
