yo akaman, we feel pretty confident in this project. Work is going well. Its quite exciting times really, manipulating the cannabinoid profile of our favourite herb in such a radical way. I wonder where it will lead. I guess this is just the start, and it gives us quite a thrill to be doing this specially for the medical users as well. It adds purpose to the passion. Though I wonder what recreational tokers will make of the high CBD varities ? That is also an interesting question

Well Tony... this is not my actual smoke report, but a preview of sorts... I'm on week 2 -3 curing CBD Skunk Haze, Night Queen and Ortega... nice yield I got (must update my diary!!)
So I shared some nugs with lots of mates of mine (include my girlfriend), all growers and/or long time tokers, and ALL of them are amazed saying in general "It been a long time since I had such GOOD stuff"

I "suffered" for too long from weed... two puffs and my heart would start racing like mad, feel anxious, wouldn't say paranoid but uneasy... to a point where I would prefer good 'ol quality marrocan hash.
Not with these plants! CBD does deliver to the recreational user like myself !! It has brought back the joy of smoke. My girlfriend says the exact same thing, except she had serious cases of paranoia! I've never seen her smoke so much loool - Me neither now that I think of it... I've been toking like mad without the slightest hint of tachycardia, and just feel at peace with the entire cosmos.

Feedback I got;

"You weed does not get you hung-over next day" (all)
"I haven't slept this good is quite some time" (Night queen)
"My girlfriend loves your weed and now I love you too bro! She had basically quit. She get so horny when she smokes...." (Another dude's girl report, but come to think about it, me too... LOL !!)
"Wow, I miss not being slammed in the head, while still feeling quite high..."

hey groff, I too love the CBD rich pot, and so do a lot of our customers both recreational and medical users.

One customer runs a seed shop, he told us that CBD weed has the effect he has been looking for. He thinks modern weed has become too racy and the CBD pot took him back to the smokes of the 70's. Relaxing, satisfying great yet different to the norm

Another medical user swears that he doesnt build up a tolerance to CBD pot in the way he builds up a tolerance with non-CBD pot

On a personal level....I got stacks of top quality CBD weed to try at Spannabis and boy did I love it. The feeling was quite different to normal pot but just as good if not better. Less heady racy trippy feelings. I felt the world become more rubbery around me, it is impossible to explain unless you have tried it. The space around me seemed to distort in a pleasant way, I was in the world yet the space aaround me was warped somehow. Colours were amazing. The golden sunset in Barcelona seemed so golden it was surreal, I felt like I was inside GTA4 video game. Totally relaxed and quite free of any anxiety feelings. I was offered so much 'traditional' pot which I turned down as I was enjoying the CBD experience so much

The CBD pot will seem a disappointment to the 'headbangers' (or are they called gangbangers these days ?) so it will not suit everyone, so dont expect the same impact as a modern high-THC variety. But from what I have experienced the CBD rich varieties will be a big hit and one of the future trends for the canna companies.

Night Queen is a banging original indica, you are right groff it is a top smoke but have too much and you asleep !
