I'm looking for Auto strains to grow outdoors this year. Potency is my main concern but a good yeild worth the effort would be nice too. It can get hot and humid here in the summer at 42°N in the Midwest (US) but July/August can have it's hot dry periods too so mold can be a concern. I appreciate any suggestions to a good auto strain to try outdoors.

So far the best mold resistance I found in an outdoor DP strain s the Brooklyn Sunrise...awesome toke too!! I did well with Colorado cookies, Brooklyn sunrise, daiquiri lime and auto ultimate last season outdoor at the 45thN. Plants dealt with with 70%Rh on the average. Amazing yields(5oz average per plant) even with mold toss. Check out the guide I wrote called Maximizing Autos outdoor which is located in the stickies section(at the top) in the outdoor category.

Thanks 912GreenSkell. I have read your guide on maximizing autos and all the outdoor grow journals I can find. I believe you got 112 grams from the sunrise correct? I have been leaning towards the Brooklyn Sunrise especially due to your grow. I want to try a few autos from several companies and find what I like. So far I know I'm going with Dinafem WW XXL and leaning towards the sunrise. Also Auto Euforia and mazar seem to get good reviews.

Yep 1/4lb on the knuckle off the sunrise. Trying out a few companies is the best way to start...find out what you like and what grows best in your climate. A sound plan! Mazar and Euphoria are both sound choices as well from what I have seen outdoors. I know lots of UK growers do well with the Mazar.

Please don't take this the wrong way....any breeder can write what ever they want. I have yet to see a 100z blue dream, or one even close to that size. Not saying it hasn't been done ever, but until I see a monster like that, its just type on the page. Ive read that before on the breeders blub, but like I said i've never seen one even close to that size.(and trust me I know what a 50oz+ plant looks like).
To get a plant that yields 100oz, the grower must be a seasoned veteran and live in one of the most favourable climates in the world. There is not too many out there that have grown a 50oz plant, let alone one topping 100. I've almost topped the 100oz milestone with a gigantic DP Blueberry that was 90oz dry, but I have had many plants top 50oz.

Don't get caught up with false hopes due to breeders blurbs fellas!

Actually that's of the things I love about Dutch Passion. I have not only matched many of the listed weights in their catalog, but have surpassed them. I'd love to see what a pro could do in the best climates in the world growing Dutch Passion gear!!
