DurbanJack, fem seeds attempt

I am sending all the good germination Karma I can your way, I feel you on the can't miss situation. If the taproot is out the cotely's are on there way I have found that is the main part of germination and if they get that taproot growing it is usually good to go. Subbed in on this one and really hope to see it come all the way to fruition. I breed as well and it is by far the most rewarding part of growing, not just taking someone elses seed and growing it but taking a see I created and growing it is the most satisfying thing on earth. Keep up the good work!

Tx for the karma bro, got a good feeling for that one, she was on time but I disturbed her by watering just a little yesterday, lesson learned!
Next time I'll put a kind of dome or Saran Wrap on top of it.
I want to feel the kind of satisfaction you describe so I'm going to do my best not to fail and my next grow will be DurbanJack auto fem seeds.

Yes! It is literally like no other feeling I have ever had, I mean it is one thing to tell someone I grew this nug. It is a whole another universe to tell someone I created this strain for the specific traits I wanted.... and GOT THEM!! It is amazing, one thing I would say is this. If for some reason it turns out to be male DON'T KILL IT! I am sure you probably wouldnt but I made the mistake of doing this and have been kicking myself for years because looking back that was one of the sturdiest plants I have ever grown and the thick stems were a trait I could have used a thousand times over by now. Pollen in my opinion can be just as valuable as big ole fat main colas!

I had 2 males lowryder 2 back in May , one got overfed and burnt, the other one I didn't really know how to harvest, no pollen left.

I've made my share of trash bag plants as well. If we only knew then what we know now, hindsight and all that.
Thanks for the CS link, I've read that top to bottom, back to front. Still left some things up in the air but once I start spraying I think all questions will be answered by how she reacts to the sauce.
I'm looking forward to that feeling too d420! Hopefully we all get a taste of that success!!
Sounds like my HBD breeders are about the same place, they poked out of the "soil" but still had the husk over them pretty good. I hit them with the mister and spread a small amount of medium over them.

Are you planning on reversing the whole plant? And are you going to pollinate an entire plant or just a few flowers? I'm going to reverse and pollinate whole plants so I should have a shit-ton of seeds!

Can't remember who taught it to me on this site, but if you put a drop a warm water on the seed shell, it will go off easily.

Yeah!
Ignition!
The Durban mom/dad officially lifted off today, day 1 on the 11/1!
I think it's a good sign, maybe...

On my previous threads I used to update everyday or every 2 days, this time I'll try to refrain overupdating and post when interesting stuff is up!
Temps: 25/21
Rh: 65/38
12/12 for lighting until the casey's widow is done, in 20/25 days, should coincide with preflowering.

Congratulations, your a new Papa!

Performed a C section, don't want to steal your thunder (last time, promise) but my babies were born today (well yesterday now 10/31)! Proud Father of twin HBD girls!

Glad she survived being out of the medium for a day while germinating, hope she will give a lot of pollen
