New Grower Dumb questions were afraid of asking (like me)

Thats when I start counting ,when she first breaks soil and I think thats what most people do.

I count from the day I put the seeds into soil. Since they all don't pop at the same time I just find that easier than trying to keep track of when each one broke the soil.

I count days from when I pop them in the wet cotton... But thats just me

i just assumed its from when they pop the soil..i see your point tho muddy..anyhow does anyone have an answer to my second question at the top? when i go to settings at the top of the page, and then click show all subscriptions, it gives me checkboxes for "notification" . next to the checkboxes it says, "instant" what does it do if i check those? IM me when someone responds to the checked thread? dumb question, but im curious. And great!, im glad people are using this thread, i know i needed something like this!

Hmmm. I went to view all of my subscriptions but I don't have an option for instant. I do kinda remember it asking us the same question when you first sub to a thread. Perhaps I already chose that option from the beginning of each one I subbed to. And I guess that means you get instant notifications if there is a new post. Shit I dunno, sorry. haha Trying to help but just looking high now
