Smashed introduced me to the show a few days ago. I downloaded seasons 1 and 2. Watched first five episodes. The series slipped by me. Could be A&E is outside my surfing range.
I only watch a few shows and just play with the control (you know--couch lock symptom).
They are a hoot. This series seems to be more programmed and edited. Not rehearsed, but, staged a bit more. Of course, I have not watched many supposed reality shows beyond the Pawn Shop/Moonshiners/Amish Mafia. Though, the 'Devils Ride' is really incredulous and obviously part fiction--like kids on Sting Ray bikes emulating "81's."
Back to the Ducks. Notice the mother looks like some heavy cosmetic surgery and for RNecks the whole family has Hollywood teeth except the uncle. The beards and hair--I get the sense they are a prop.
The father is shrewd and it will take me some time to figure him out. The younger brother is witty as they come--yet--not up to the level of our resident 'Stunted's' humor.
Fun show --- Namvet.
