Had a few questions as I am making a cure box for my buds! I have the box constructed and was debating weather or not to add a fan for exhaust with negative air ports to draw air in! My average RH% is about 37-45% but mostly sits in between those ranges. So what will be optimal just a few air ports on each sides with a small 60mm fan which i already have laying around? Or don't use the fan and just some air ports just to self vent? Also the fan I have has a 3 speed fan control, was going to use it but figured I would ask. I am in no rush to fast dry! Also as far as curing in jars, I do have mason jars but the hygrometer I currently own is to big to fit in the jars, was wondering if anyone has tried curing in air tight sealed tupperware the ones with the rubber strip on top and the 4 clips around the container type, in which I know i can fit my hygrometer in. Thanks in advance!

Long as fan isnt pointing at buds cant help but to move air around. I just hanged mine in my tent put my fan on lowest setting at the bottom facing away from buds. Also i seem to remember people advicing not to use plastic boxes for curing but cant remember why. I didnt even use a metre i just looked daily n open once a week. When stems snap jar it

Ive changed the name of your thread so that people dont get confused and it is much more easy to find
As regards to the jars with the rubber seals i use them and i have no problems at all just make sure they are a good tight seal Also if your Rh is between 37% and 45% thats great give them 4-5days have a fan circulating air but not direct onto the bud also i have a hole at the bottom and 1 at the top of my dry box and check the buds 1-2 times a day :smokebuds:
