Ok so I am learning that daz’s super soil mix isn’t strong enough to get through flower. By a lot it seems. It seems especially in the K dept.

That’s the main issue all of my plants have shown this round. As they get into flower by like a week they almost all show K def.

I added 3/4 cup of potassium sulfate 1/2 cup of seabird Guano and started using the aloe extract.

I am getting ready to start potting up the LAG2 and should have it wired today or tomorrow.

I think I am going to switch it up to a hybrid layered soil tech.

on the very bottom of the pot I am gonna use the coast of main I have left and add 1 tablespoon per gallon of the super soil mix

I am also going to up the ratio to 2.5 tablespoons per gallon

these plants get so damn big so damn fast it just uses all the nutes up. Something I haven’t really considered. With the first run using kind soil it was pretty dang hot. And i cut it 2:1 with roots O.

I may just try a couple in straight coast of Maine and use my starter hole method.

So a couple of adjustments comin with the soil mix to try snd rectify these issues I seem to be havin

Here’s the day 59 update

Seems like I’ve got the nutrient issues pretty well sorted in LAG 1

it will start being harvested tomorrow or Friday at 67 days

I mixed up the dirt for Lag2 today.

here’s the mix.

5 bags coast of Maine

13 bags of roots organic original

for each bag of roots I added 1 cup of Dazs super soil mix.
It’s much hotter this time with the COM and 2.5 tablespoons per gallon of soil

You should look at my mix. It's deceptively simple, yet I recently had a Sativa go 92 days in a three gallon pot and never gave her anything but water. And she was green at harvest

I would take a look for sure. However I have 40 GALLONS of Dazs mix to use. And it works great. I just don’t think the 2 tablespoons per gallon is enough to last through flower.

I think upping the ratio and adding the coast of Maine should rectify it, if not I may be adding more stuff to the mix I already have.

another thing to take into account. My plants are in hyper drive over drive from day one. They are cranking through nutes as most get big Af(lots are photo sized)

so the traditional lower feed on autos is kinda goin out the window with the LAG setup.

so while your mix will get you through flower. I am Leary that it would in my setup. I’m running a DLI of like 65-70 this round. 1200 par for 15 hours and 200 or so for like 8 and then down from 50 to 5 or so for an hour.

the only way I’m able to run that high is with cO2 and the mix of sun and artificial light.

these babies are at peak performance I think as far as nutrient usage. So now I have to adjust and I think treat them more like photos when it comes to nutes
