Dutch Passion DP Think Different Lovers Thread

Just gets better and better I'm at the six month mark now.[emoji7]

Quite loving the strain, just wondering if it's commonly so prone to foxtailing.
I'm currently at 66days from seed, and I'm quite confident in being able to harvest at 75, give or take a couple days.

Growing in hydro, I did the last res change a few days back, gave them EC 2.4 liquids, with the intention of letting it drain down, but I've now noticed that there is some foxtailing starting to appear.
The res had dropped to 2.15, but I drained it a bit down to 1.3 now.

Yeah for an Auto TD never seems to want to stop fox tailing! Probably part of the reason people harvest it at many different times. Of course different phenos account for this also.

Yesterday I spent some hours reading different opinions about foxtailing, because I had experienced that weird behaviour in my TD garden not long ago.

Abundance of N and P in connection with some excessive heat is the most acceptable answer after all reading. Too much N or P with 22C will not make it.

My TD plants that foxtailed, had been fed a little bit too intensive and heat was a little bit too high. And some acidity in soil most probably did not work positive with overfeeding and overheating.

So foxtailing is not very much connected with Think Different itself but growing conditions.

Yeah I was using Overdrive quite late in the grow to push some extra weight. And had extremes of temps growing in a loft. Came out very nicely in the end mind.Surely the sati dominance affects foxtailing?

Might be, that sativa likes to foxtail more than indica or maybe pure indica does not foxtail at all, no matter how stessed the plant.

But whenever it happens, there is something wrong and that is what we do not like.

I just ordered some TD. Will be back to update AFN on the progress!

I have grow think outdoor 3 times and 2 plants indoor that never finished: cause of traveling for work. But I had saved the unfinished buds and sugar leafs and made them to ISO hash 2 weeks ago...
yes it was good it was so good that a new one is in water ... I can't stop thinking of its smell and head high(and it is 2 years since the outdoor ones) ... It freaking change the way you see the world just by smelling it makes me happy in the heart!!!!

For anyone why's grown multiple Think Different seeds, have you noticed two different smelling phenos? Most seem to smell pretty unique, light, and more like a floral sativa than classic marijuana ("Someone's smoking weed, bro), but I noticed one that smells more like that (kinda like afghan strains), with a slightly ashy/burnt, weed smell.

If anyone has encountered this, could you give a little info on the differences between the two, in terms of growth and effect.

Please quote this post, so I know you replied.
