Hello all AutoNewbt here trying my hand at DP's superior strains Think Different & AutoMazar. This is actually my second grow the first is almost ready for harvest and was done in an aerogarden ultra. I was very new to growing and thought it would be a good environment to learn with. Well she turned into a beast of a plant and made me want to do a grow the right way.

With all that said I have started my new grow with a DP TD & Mazar. I germinated both seeds in a replacement ag I received because the electronics went out in the one my berry ryder is in. Here is a pic of them seven days from placing both seeds in their sponge pods along with the wifes tomato lol straight ph'd 5.5 tap water.

Day 7:

Now that the intro is out of the way, on to the tech specs.

Nutes: Floranova grow & bloom, floralicious plus, florablend, koolbloom liquid and calimagic. Aquashield & pond-zyme for rez maintenance.

Lights: 90w 5 band led ufo, 135w 7 band led ufo, 2 x 42w 2700k, 2x40w 6500k and 4x18w cfls (for supplemental lighting and early veg). 20/4 light schedule.

Grow environment: 3.5 gallon DWC Bubblers, growstones, ag sponges/seed pods, 4 inch inline fan and carbon filter, 4x2x5ft lighthouse tent(will be up after harvest of berry ryder)

Currently my plants have been transferred from the aerogarden and are in their bubblers. I am using 1/8 strength nutes, 30ml aquashield and 1/16th tsp pond-zyme. Each plant is under a 42w 2700k & 40w 6500k cfl.

Looking nice auto, You might want to think about the volume of that air pump, how many liters per minute does she put out? Those two ladies you got can get a pretty massive rootball and need loads of O2.

Thanks for stopping by insert, love your journals btw  the pump is labeled 15lpm should I get a larger one or another one so both buckets have their own?

15lpm would be good for 1 bucket mate ... 30lpm would be better .If your splitting the 15lpm pump between two buckets it may not be enough ?.:smokebuds:

Thanks Vira and Insert for bringing the pump issue to my attention, I would hate to have got deep into my grow to find that not enough O2 was causing issues. I went ahead and ordered this pump from amazon and should have it in a couple days(I love prime) http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002JPRNOU/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Hopefully this is large enough to handle the massive root balls I've seen in TD & MAZAR grows. I am using a proprietary diffuser I bought that throws out a lot of microbubbles it is weighed down by stainless steel washers and covers the whole bottom of the buckets. With the stronger air pump I can't wait to see how much more the buckets "boil". Let me know if I'm on the right track, thanks again!

Looks good, I use a Hailea 60LPM for two buckets, but if you are getting lots of micro bubbles that should get you there.

Day 27
EC 0.7

Both girls have shown their lady parts(TD was first), I had a small bout with slime on the Mazar's roots last rez change but a quick bucket change, full strength aquashield and double dose pond-zyme(1/4 tsp) cleared that right up. I also had a ph problem with the TD but found out it was me being overzealous, I followed a tip seymoure gave which is to let your nutes circulate and stabilize a day or two before ph'n the rezzes once I did this and stopped chasing ph the issues on her leaves ceased and her ph stays more consistent :smoke::thumbs: The girls are finally in their tent under all available lighting but I can already see I'll be saving up some more money for one of the larger leds smh(wife's gonna kill me hah). I also tried my hand at a bit of light bondage(lst) but don't think I'll need to do anymore. Well that's all I learned this week until next time Vape One!!

Day 33
EC 0.8
PH 5.9

Small update the Mazar has taken off she is 14 in. tall(even with the light bondage) but not showing pistals. The TD is 10 in. tall but really bushy since I tied main stalk down, she put out alot of chutes but they are spindly gonna get another fan for her side of the tent. She has pistals at all her nodes so once she stops growing tall I'll switch her nute regiment. I am also looking for a new led about 400w and when I find it I'll put in the top of the tent and use the ufos for side lights. Let me know if I am forgetting anything or any suggestions.
