I just got a very nice package in the mail today with my new 7 beans from DP Think Different.

Grow space will be a tent inside my normal grow room. 4x4 foot print with 7' of height.

Brand new 1000w MH/HPS digital ballast (i-power)
Leaning towards DWC Buckets to individually monitor each plants needs, but may do a flood table so I can get SCROG easier, which is my goal.

Thinking of growing 5 in this grow and using 2 others separate to try and reverse 1 with CS Spray and polinate the other 1. Who knows.

I am going to use house & gardens line of nutes, since its what I already have for my soil plants.

Measurements in PPM since that's what my meter reads.

First time with this strain, and first dwc / ebb and flow. So probably lots of questions and pleanty of screw ups along the way.

Why craw when you can just fly.

Picked up my 4x4 flood tray today and rest of my shopping list. Probably still need a bunch of stuff once I get it going but I think I got most everything. Can't wait to get started. Planning to take photo's every 3 days to get a good journal going. Hope for some excitement soon.

Sounds like an epic grow I can't wait to see how it turns out :smokeit:

Day 3 update

Well today is day 3 from seed. I got my flood tray set up, it is 4'x4'. In it I have 5 Dutch Passion Think Different's. They are under my 1000w MH dimmed to 50% and I have it up to the ceiling currently to let them break in a little.

Here they are at day 1 - 1.5 I didn't have the cubes like this from the start. The tap roots were coming out of the tops of the cubes and I had to move the tops around carefully so I can get everything oriented correctly.

Now day 3 tonight, Put them all into net pots and into the flood tray.

Now just gonna hook up my basin and get that rolling tomorrow. I've been just watering the cubes lightly with ph'd 5.5 well water.
Hoping for something incredible.

Something incredible is on it's way. I'd say your first pound harvest if you play it right with PH, and your Nutes.
I would definitely Scrog these babies to get a nice even canopy, and HUGE, dense colas.

Best of luck on this...never ran "Think Different" but with good canopy management a pound from a 1000W is easily obtainable from decent yielding strains...

SCROG is a good thing to consider...seems daunting at first sometimes but results speak for themselves...

Definitely be checking in, rock it out!

Thanks guys, I will be doing a scrog for sure. About 12" up or a little lower?

Question about my cycle timer. I currently have the cycle set to 30 minutes, and on time is 3 minutes every 30, which is about what it takes my 750gph pump to fill the tray and get a little bit of overflow before it shuts off. Draining completely takes 4.5 minutes. Sound ok??

I'm starting to notice roots shooting out of the sides of the rockwool cubes. But not anything crazy happening on leaf development, second set of real leaves are appearing. I'll update pics on Wednesday to be a week from the last pics.

You can run whatever times work good for you. I think a longer dry time in-between with a longer flood time is better for root growth starting out. Longer dry time will make the roots search out for water.
I run 15 minute flood every 1 1/2 hours and it works good for every stage of growth for me.

I usually run my Scrog screen at the same (12") give or take. It's a good height for TD in my experience.
