Ok I have this lowryder 2 at day 58 and as u can see it VERY short, maybe 8 or 9 inches. I usually go til the bud leaves have a decent bit of yellow in them. These leaves are still mostly green, but 90% of the hairs are a solid amber so I dont know if i should let it keep going or not. I was thinking also maybe it small size could mean its a quick finisher too.

What u guys think? Oh and if u were wondering that is a fast bud #2 there to the left.

Nope, not done. I don't know any auto that's done at day 58. I'd take it another week at the very least before even considering a chop. So I think you're a little confused about what signals a done plant. The hairs being red really doesn't mean anything, it's the trichomes that need to turn amber to signify ripeness. A good rule of thumb is 30% amber tricomes and you'll be buzzing.

That said, some plants don't amber up before they are done. The leaves are my ultimate guide. I let them go until there's no question about being done. Better a little late than early :D

I agree, leave them for another week or more. As long as those big leaves still have green in them the plant will use it to fatten the buds. Don't worry about the days, it will be ready when it's ready. For a small plant, you're going to get a nice size bud off of it. Looks good.

I agree as well, I tend to go by leaf fade when it comes to autos, and as Mr Piggy pointed out, there are some autos that wont amber much if at all.... I chop when the fan leaves are almost all fallen off and the sugar leaf is starting to yellow at the tips. If you like a more up buzz though you could chop early, but you will sacrifice some weight and medicinal value. (as in mostly THC and hardly any CBD or CBN.)
