Lighting Does anyone here actually know about LEDs?

I've scowered the Internet and cannot find the answers I'm looking for.
I am looking on Alibaba for a QB. I came across a 600w HLG build. They told me the 600w qb is no longer in production. But told me they designed a light to replace it. It is a 6 strip light bar. It however does not utilize samsung diodes. It uses diodes called seoul diodes.
My question is, would this still be a great light for a 5x5 tent, even though the diodes are not samsung?

There are plenty of other options on alibaba for quantum board design lights.
Most claim to use samsung chips too although i couldnt be sure they are.

I bought a 480w 'quantum board' from bava technologies on alibaba and im very happy with it

I am sure you could grow cannabis with it but it is not a spectrum I would buy.

iv done a bit of research myself as im looking for something the same to you the light looks good but im not sure on them diodes never heard of them have you looked at bava or meijiu on alibaba thery have some nice QB lights with samsung parts also know two members using there products with good success

do you know what the deal is with that site are the QB lights coming back or is he moving into the strips now iv been holding off getting one to see what happens he dont update insta that much anymore plus are them strips all white diodes

I have no idea, only relised he was not stocking QB the other week. I grabed two of the 660red strip by HLG before they ran out to up grade my v1 QB light

that will be a real bummer if they don't do HLG any more.. but hey silver lining and all, all over those growmau5 pucs soon as i have the funds... I fancy a full 4 x4 set up

I bet Steve from HLG got funny over them stocking Chill and pulled the stock from the shop... I've delt with Steve in emails before and the man can be a bit of dick... I don't think he gets British dry humor

i like the look of the chilled kits i bet there some serious bits of kit what you reckon a 270 strip kit or a 320 chilled kit to go with my telos-008
