Do autoflowers grow faster than photos in veg stage?

yeah, I'm Mediterranean so probably better, but still not ideal. Just trying to figure out if you had to plant this late whether would be better off with autos or photos.

If it were me, and had to grow one or the other, I'd go with a fast photo

Broo.. What autos run 100 days , indoors or outdoors?? If you name some, those aren't full autos, lol.. 100 days to grow an auto defeats the entire purpose of an auto.. Most photo period grows don't even take 100 days. You can grow a huge photo period plant outdoors with 6weeks of veg (42 days) and 8 weeks of flower (56 days), 98 days total.. I have yet to see or hear about an auto out yielding or out growing a photo period in any situation..

What do you mean? 90 days is 90 days.. If you have 90 days of good weather outside to grow an auto, you have the same for a photo period.. Flash Seeds.. Haven't heard that in years. Hope Stitch has got the breeding thing figured out!

I've only grown autos in a a tent. I generally get ≥1 gram of buds per day of growth. This seems to be generally applicable to autos grown indoors. So maybe the question should be, "In comparison, how much do photos typically yield per day of growth?"

Anyone tested the theory that autos grow a week or so slower outdoors than indoors?

I kinda see the question as this. What drives a nail better? A screwdriver or a combination wrench? Both auto and photo make sence, in their perspective jobs. Autos for single space runs where the option to hold mothers and clones is out. Photos if your looking for consistency and weight & have the room.

And I don't know about taking longer, but my outdoor autos are normally much smaller than their indoor counterparts. Unless started indoor for the first couple weeks.
