DIY DIY shallow water culture

Growth is continuing to be unusually fast including development of flowers, or relatively for me anyway. I mean they are further advanced than my Moby Dick which is three weeks older. Anyway here's some update shots. I've only changed the reservoir once so far. This plant is easy to work with the scrog but on my other older orange bud I had to remove the scrog because the plant was just too unbendable. But these are the same beans.

I'm still puzzling over what is causing these differences, the only difference in environment is that there is more substrate in the DIY than my round tubs, but the plants wouldn't know that at the beginning. And all that's left is the light. What can I say, it's a bit greener than the other lights I have. Can that be causing it, it sounds fantastically impossible, but as I have no other explanation and my set up has no other complication whatsoever, I have no choice but to do another Test.

Next grow I will have to do a more controlled test. Meanwhile...
