Ok, so, all that work :poof: gone Whatcha gunna do? I'm just gunna chill:baked: and do it betta' than da 1st time Can you dig it? No use :deadhorse: ,now is there?

So here we go I was going to buy a grow tent to begin my 1st grow I have enough room for an 8x8 but only 1 LED that can cover 4x4 in veg or flower I priced all kinds of tents of all sizes A cheap 4x4 from $50 to $150 8x8 from $450 to $1000 And most reviews were not great for one reason or another So I decided that I would make my own tent I went with 8x8 (or close to it) because I can just use one corner and expand my grow as my skills improve and funding permits Now I spent about $250 but it can be built for less by using all 2x2x8 or leaving out the flooring This size room can probably be built for under $150 I also used my 10% Military discount at Home Depot frequently

List of materials I used:

Lumber
26 - 2"x3"x8' and 3 - 2"x2"x8' @ $70.00

Floor
1/2" Weight room puzzle tiles (3 packs @ $20 ea) @$60.00
Great investment Padding for the knees (especially at my age) and insulation from the concrete floor
20180901_152510.jpg

I added a sheet of plastic as a vapor barrier in the case water comes in under the garage door Layer of cardboard as xtra padding and fill the gap material The height of my room is 8'6" The length of the 2x3 is 8' Leaving a 6" gap to fill which I did by stacking my headers and footers on the vertical 2x3 making the walls 8'3" The tile and cardboard added another inch or so leaving a 2 inch gap The walls are hanging from the rafters Blocked the corners to stabilize the walls and fill the gap E Z Peazy

Panda Film
10' x 50' roll @ $50.00
Cut five sections at 8' Walls (4) and ceiling (leaving a 10' x 10' section on the roll to use for the floor) Each cut section will be 8' x 10' Place ceiling first and cut off xtra 2 feet leaving an 8' x 8' square to use as a guide to place walls squarely

There you have a 8 x 8 x 8'6" grow room Now what you put inside it is up to each gardener
I am going with a closed system with A/C (summer) Heater (winter) CO2 (all seasons) Dehumidifier (summer) Humidifier (winter) 2 - oscillating fans HEPA air purifier with carbon filter 675w COB lighting And most importantly FastBuds genetics
