Indoor DIY DWC TEST RUN.

Oh can't post an Amazon link for some reason!

Ah gotcha! Where do you get your other nutes from? Surely someone like Amazon will have a warehouse facility there so no going through customs?
theres grow shops here. but recently theyve changed all the rules on customs to do with cannabis goods and are being alot more strict. for e.g they sent a whole shipment back because one of packages was spelt diffrently to how it was on paper work. organic nutes. not a problem. its anything else with certain hormones or if they just dont like look of it.

That's crazy mate! Ok well if you can't get anything then you will just have to make sure your res temps stay down and that there is loads of oxygen, I've had some issues myself this run which is purely my fault as thought I would try out one of these instead if airstones but the thing was fucking useless and turns out my roots were sitting in stagnated water for a couple weeks and I got some root rot, luckily caught it just in time and this Silver Bullets stuff has literally saved my grow!

Ok just keep an eye on it after every res change and make sure it's not getting clogged up as mine worked well to start with but I don't change out my res to much, I didn't change out my res for about a month then checked the diffuser after res change and it was producing about 5 bubbles lol, tried cleaning it but made no difference, changed back to my airstones and a massive improvement.

To be honest mate the initial growth in DWC is slower then other mediums and actually the overall grow time is also, mine are normally slow up until week 4/5 when they take off, my autos were taking over 100 days though so I'm trying photos this run

I have a theory about this.
I accidentally fed my dwc seedlings 150 ppm when first putting them in the system.
I had intended to keep feed below 50 ppm.
Leaves started looking bad, growth was stunted, but they did recover.
But most of the plants will now take over 14 weeks.

My theory is that dwc plants must be fed very light early on to avoid multiple toxicities that will stunt growth and slow harvest.

see i only use half nutes as it is. or 70% of whats needed. ive always found better to under feed than over.. but that is something to look into. but that way has always worked for me (soil anyway) see this dwc stuff is all new to me.
