my understanding of co2 is that for it to be at it's most beneficial, temps need to be high, and steady near 85F. my hydro dealer says he will sell you whatever you'll buy. he is also the owner of the hydro store, and been growing for over 25 years. i asked him...do i need co2...he said "no". it's a big benefit to commercial growers in ideal circumstances. but for small operations like our private grows, he does not suggest that i spend the money on it, for what i'd get in return. yes, there are those who will swear by it. but if the guy selling it says.."no need"... i'd pass on it.
