Just remembered I have a 4 day trip come end of August. My 5 gallon fabric ladies should do just fine because they will be close to finish anyways.

Do solo cups finish faster? Can I put on a small saucer with water for a few days?

Competition will run from August 2019 to Jan 2020. It's still 6 weeks until the start of the battle!

The life of an autoflower is on automatic, often start of flowering is around 21 days from germination and from then it is all out flowering. The life of an autoflower should be the same whether in a big pot or a little pot.
A saucer of water should help, especially if the pots should happen to dry out while you are away if you don't give them a saucer of water (Ph'd)h:

Seeing that you have started, way before the battle has started, why not pot just them up into your fabric pots and just buy yourself 3 more auto cookies seeds and start them when the battle starts?
This will mean your plants survive and have enough moisture to keep them alive, whilst your away.
Seeds can be bought direct from Dinafem or if you live in a place where Dinafem can't post to, then get them from "The Attitude Seedbank" (other seed banks are available) who do post to the USA and other countries.

I have not started them. I'm supposed to do a Dinafem journal for them somewhere in Sept. But I also wanna do this one. Its no biggie though if i sit this one out.

You are right. It just dawned on me that I only have 3 seeds. Would be best to grow them out normally. Especially if one or two don't germ.

Won't be buying seeds for a while and when I do, I usually buy quite a bit to save on shipping cos its always stealth tracked for me. I have sponsored seeds from 5 breeders I used to join 6 battles. On average, each breeder sent 10 seeds. Thats not including my existing stock which is quite a bit. So as you can see, I'll be growing for quite a bit without shortage of seeds. A big hurray to all these wonderful AFN seed sponsors!

Wish it was just open to anyone not just dinafem growers id love to do it or at least try but don't have no dinafem yet so I'm automatically kicked to the curb lol when do you think you'll offer one of these sponsored ones to all growers so we can have a chance to become a tester and dinafem grower

My understanding is that the solo cup challenge is open to anyone ... but the Dinafem fans get priority for the free beans (which is only fair i guess, considering the limited number of sponsored places).

There's possibly more exciting news to come from Dinafem ... so it would be worth keeping an eye on this thread ... Even If you don't get one of the lucky 20 places!

People with previous complete Dinafem grow journals, get preference for the sponsored spots.

There are 20 sponsored spots but you can buy your own seeds "Cookies Autoflowering - Dinafem" and join the battle that way! So yes you can join in!

However although preference goes to people with complete Dinafem grow journals, this doesn't mean those without, won't be selected, you just get a better chance if you have a dinafem grow under your belt!

I keep my fingers crossed for you, that you will get a spot if not, i have posted (earlier in this thread) where you can purchase "Dinafem - Cookies autoflowering" with links to where they can be purchased, whether your in Europe or in places such as the "USA" where Dinafem can't directly send but other seedbanks will!

3 seeds will cost you around £22 - £25 so not too much, plus there will be 3 top prizes, which will be announced at a later date!
