Do you factor in the light with tent yields since i believe that you have used different lights?
yes but that is when your figuring out gram/watt I usually get 1.5gr/watt with sub-par lighting... I think thats rather awesome considering guys with expensive top of line lighting are not pulling them digits on a regular basis...

Also, so far, are you liking the autopots?
well I like , Although I do wish I had probably used my own nutrients my first time in them... It's just I been using the other type for years and know my dosing blindfolded, this I had to work and figure out my dosing since I didn't have a clue to how strong it was/is/etc...But I didn't have much issue working with this kind, next grow in them will certainly be a night & day difference, this is my very first run with them autopots & DutchPro Nutrients, so I think I'm doing pretty well I'm not causing burning to my babies or anything so to me thats success!

Yup to bad you didnt use old nutes ....to see if the plants required less than you used before. But i realize other factors would have effected this also

there was just many new factors in this grow, new pots , a res, new nutrients, new strains, light issue's , calmag issue's, tent floods, the list goes on & on........I always stare at my babies when I am judging the dosing I will be making for them... I think I'm pretty decent at reading what they telling me they would like, I think I provide exactly what they telling me... I really do study them I just stare and stare... Kinda assessing everything.. I will be doing a side by side in the future not sure when just yet, but you'll know once I do... I want run my old nutrients against this type just for shit's & giggles! :pass:

If I was using co2/vpd we would of seen a 40-45% increase, so w/o I'm about right where I should be.. maybe slightly under due to two plant's giving me a hard time but in the end I will still have a tent yield around 20oz or so(a LB+ tent yield not bad)...I'm fine with that, like I said I already have a kinda large stock as it is...I wish a little more from two, but no biggie..my tent yields w/co2 are 40oz on average per/tent don't matter if 3 plants or 4 inside...I think my best tent average so far w/co2 and lighting i have was 42oz and that was for 3 plants..my prior tent yield was 40oz before that and before that also 40oz... so I'm super consistent...

Are you an VPD believer? Does it really make a difference in yield or quality? I tried it for a while but it was too hard to keep the RH up there in my environment. All I noticed was during veg it seemed like the plants looked a healthier green in color.

Oh hell yes, I'm a true believer of VPD... Normally I run a very controlled environment, total precision & accuracy and it does make a big difference...I love sealed rooms, I can control every aspect...while this route isn't for everyone...sealed rooms are 100% dependent on the grower providing the correct environment, open tent is basically luck of the draw.. I still think it's very important to keep vpd in correct ranges or as close as possible..the veg part is the most important time for vpd, in flower that kinda goes out the window...If you do use vpd charts to help guide you make sure your not using the one for leaf vpd there are two charts out there...if ya not have let me know and I'll give ya a copy of mine..Vpd is a tad bit difficult to keep precise in an open tent, so don't get disappointed if your having a hard time..just keep as close as you can and don't worry about it...Sealed tent are night & day difference how they work, you MUST provide Everything..your the responsible party if ANYTHING is off, so does take some knowledge & running sealed means you HAVE no Choice you MUST run co2,humidifier,dehumidifier, possibly aircon(light dependent) Many people probably not willing to be 100% responsible, you can't throw blame anywhere else when using a sealed tent... Any environment mistake's is only on you, no-one to blame it on... some people can't handle that.it's far easier to blame open environment instead take responsibility.. For me I'm my biggest critic no-one is harder on me then I am.....

The local climate is dry so I have to run a humidifier to increase RH in to the VPD sweet spot. And I use RO water for that. And for my feed water too. And right now I am using bottled RO water and that can be expensive and involves at least weekly trips to restock. I have an RO filter on order so I should have unlimited RO water soon. But even so I am not sure I can run such high RH. My tent is in a friends garage and we have noticed if we run high RH it affects the integrity of the garage. Once I get RH above 50% we see moisture coming out of the soffets. And my friend doesnt want to see that happen. So I run RH around 40% now which is not something close to the VPD sweet spot.
