An abbreviated journal on his grow. I'm 5 weeks fro seed at this point.

3 Industrial Plant CBD Auto
1 Critical 2+

I started with an auto top feed watering system into 3 gallon coco pots. That went south as my temps rose and I went back to hand watering. Slime grew fast and I don;t have enough O2 to combat it, plus my res temps were getting past 80 F, no chiller. was watering 4x per day, now it;s 2x per day by hand. I can't keep up the 4x without the auto watering. Still, everything is smooth so far and growth is fast and large. The pump sucks out my runoff

Nutes started out much less that is current using the Mega Crop schedule. I added the extras 3 weeks in.

At week 3 I topped at 6th node and took the 1st. Leaving me with 8 main colas and a bunch of offshoots which I may trim off soon. I did LST to pull the branches out.

Mega Crop 4.5 G per gallon
CaliMagic 1ml per gallon
Kool Bloom Liquid 1 ml per gallon

ph around 6
ppm around 1000

I have flowers all over 1 Industrial Plant, hints of them on two others and none at all on the Critical 2+

The photos are in order of growth. 5 weeks is amazing growth. This is my second grow

and then this was my snazzy, or so I thought, auto system. It worked so well that I could have left it for a week if I had to go out of town.

It was a 20 gallon trash can, a small circulation pump, a larger pump to supply 8 hoses from a bubbler into 4 drip caps. the runoff would run from the saucers to the waste tray and get pumped out to a larger bucket. all was on timers

I had one 40 gallon equiv. fish tank air pump. not nearly enough O2 to keep it oxygenated to fight bacteria. I'll put it back together this fall

Nice set up there @Cronk.
Could easily fill that space with 4 plants on this system.
Why not drop in a little air stone to your res?

The Industrials will give you some fat buds.
I've got the CBD Auto version, just about to harvest.
They're a good solid plant.

How big is your space? And what light have you got over it?
Just curious. :)

Hi, Maria. thanks for stopping by

I can imagine the buds on Industrials are going to be large. already filing the colas on the one, starting on the other two. tight nodes and lots of flowers

315 LEC, 3' x 3' x 6.5' tent. supercropped the tallest tonight, trying to even out the tops. not much use as the Critical is very short and not flowering. seems to have stopped growing but still looks healthy. don't know

my goal for this grow is to get through the heat with something decent and start back in the early fall with an updated o2 system

I had a 4" round air-stone but it wasn't enough for the heat. thinking about the General Hydroponics pump. lots of air on that

Another AutoDinafem adventure up and running on the AFN platform

Industrial plant auto CBD was one of our first high CBD autos and I can say the grows on AFN tell the tale and she has been very well received :bong:

Your off to a fantastic start with this grow. I'm all caught up now and will be watching this with interest

Good luck mate I'll drop back in on the next update :bong:

All the best

Mark..

Mega Crop 8.5 grams per 1-1/2 gallon 2x per day
with:
Calimagic 2.5ml per 1-1/2 gallon
Liquid Kool Bloom 15ml per 1-1/2 gallon

total ppm 1115
ph 6.0

It appears I have 3 different phenotypes with the Industrials. It also appears that Seedsman may have sent me something other than the Critical 2+ Auto *.

The 3 Industrials are in full flower. 1 is thickening up fast over the entire length of the colas. Very few side branching on this one which I am happy about. The 8 stalks on it are thick and sturdy and I think will hold what will become heavy buds. this is the shortest of the three. One Industrial has a lot of side branching and is wispy with so many leaves I can't pick them all to keep light on the bud sights. Flowers everywhere on this on but they seem to not be as thick as the beefy one This is the tallest of the 3 and looks like Sativa...thin leaves, lots of side branches. The 3rd plant is between these two, displaying features of both, it's the middle height with a good amount of flowers, but still has some wispiness and side branching that is hard to control. They are all responding well to the Mega Crop and additives. They are starting to get sticky

* The Critical 2+ is not flowering at all and shows no sign of doing so. While it's healthy it remains short and grows new leaves slowly. I see no pistils. I keep telling myself it will pop soon but in reality I think it is something entirely different that labeled. sad because I wanted this one to work out. The description sounded great. I guess this plant cold be anything. I guess I'll keep it going and switch it to 12/12 after the others are harvested. 12 week veg. kind of ridiculous but if it hangs on that long I'll scrog it and let it go. @Dinafem-Mark what do you think?

Temps are back down to normal for a while so less struggle with keeping below 85F. Supercropping on the tall one, constant taking of leaves and lower branches continue.

Still no flower from the alleged Critical 2+ Auto. If it was mislabeled then I can't know if it;s even a Dinafem plant. I'm going to keep it in veg until I harvest the Industrials then scrog it and let it go mad. It'll be my attempt to break a LB with the 315 LEC

Meanwhile the Industrials are all responding to their situations in their own way. The one on the left, rear is fattening up while the other two are still more wispy and delicate. I think I see a change from day to day and expect them to catch up, although the node spacing on these two is more spaced. Fragrance is lemony, very nice. starting to get sticky. I'll say that my first grow with photos, my last grow, I was not at this point at 6 weeks. far from it. the speed and progress is astonishing

Mega Crop + Liquid Kool Bloom at around 1000 ppm total for the flowers and just Mega at around 500 600 ppm for the vegger. 2x per day

Can I ask where did the critical+2.0 auto come from mate?

It sounds like it is a photoperiod strain and not autoflowering so your plan is spot on

If she does not flower "automatically" then the switch to 12/12 Will definitely kick in the flowering phase.

I'm more concerned as to where this "auto" came from?

So sorry about this mate. I know you would have planned thus grow and for one if our strains to not perform as intended is never good to hear.

Apart from that the industrial plant auto cbd are in tip top shape :pass: some monster tops and big fat side branches filled with CBD goodness.

Let me know where this critical+2.0 auto came from mate and I'll see what can be done about this :bong:

Until next time :pass:

All the best

Mark..

@Dinafem-Mark it came from Seedsman. it was a bonus seed. They tell me it was prepackaged as such, no way to know what it is. I can imagine how things can get mixed up packing these things but maybe there's a way to know? thanks for checking in and for the kind words. The plants are doing really well and I expect a good amount of swell on the buds. The unknown soldier will be an adventure but puts me off schedule. whatever

Here's my latest......

2.5 weeks from 70 days, Dinafem says 70 days to harvest

Quit Liquid Kool Bloom and started Dry Kool Bloom. 1/4 Tsp per gallon
Mega Crop at 850 -900 ppm (tap water at 125)

PPM under 1000. was up to 1200 with no bad effects. Buds are fattening on the 2 thinner phenos of Industrial, the 1st one to flower is fat and probably ready at 70 days or earlier if I am guessing

These plants are tough, really no problems so far, just feed and defoliate, keep a breeze on them and try to keep temps from getting too high. Topping and LST has produced lots of buds sights but I should have been a bit more aggressive with this about 4 weeks ago. a few too many side branches producing small flowers.

The unknown photo plant is hanging in and getting massive. No idea what to do about it, 12 more weeks of it will put me into September, using AC through July and august. It's going to be a pain and a drain but It could yield a ton of buds. Wish I knew what it was.

sorry pictures suck, new phone coming today, nice camera shat the bed
