I'm guessing that it originated with the extremely tropical strains, they can take several months to flower out, light can be a real issue. The original afghani strains never had the issue as I remember. This was back in the "go to the bookstore and read@Arthur great information to learn. Thanks for the explanation. Is it possible for all plants to have this gene, just in a recessive state? Kind of like recessive genes in humans?
