Diablo vs 288.

A single Diablo has as many LEDs as 2.25 QB288's. So a single Diablo's PPFD is about what 2 1/4 QB 288 put out at 75 watts per board. I'd estimate a single Diablo to have a PPFD of around 400

Did you get that number right? I ask because a 135W supposedly has a PPFD reading of well over 400 at 24 inches and like 730 at 18 inches in a 2 x 2.

I based my estimate on a 4x4 space. I didn't notice mention of 2x2 space before. In this case, the Diablo should put out more PPFD than the 260 watt kit running @ 135 watts in that space. For a fact a single QB 288 doesn't come close to the Diablo. In the future I'll hang a single board and get some PAR readings.
