Defoliate...? D27 Indica autos

80% Indica hybrids in OF 3 gal fiber pots. Day 27. 600W Vivosun LED ay 24”. So compact not much space to LST. My question: would you remove any of the big fan leaves blocking the developing bud sites? Just exposed as many as I could this morning and found that light green/yellow new growth buried under the leaves. Never grown this strain before. No signs of pistil development yet.

Thoughts?

Looking good. I would leaf tuck before removing and looks like there is some wiggle room for lst

Thanks Peerjack420. Perhaps the learning is how hard I can pull on these stems to open them up. I’ve broken a few leafs off in the process so far and there are a lot of possible budsites. How much do you think these will stretch during flowering?

Get your self some alligator clips to put around the fabric pot and some pipe cleaners to tie off on the stems. Mess with it ever day or as needed. Hard to say on stretch I’ve not grown this strain myself.
