Day 55 discoloration/drooping

I just wanted to say, all problems aside. Your bush looks Amazing! So many cola sites! Did you top it?
Thanks that's why I'm so concerned about their health because they seem like they should produce well. I only LST'd them and they just kept filling in and got very bushy. The bud sites do have me excited :yay:

When mine start drooping, it only takes about a couple of hours for them to be restored to where the leaves are pointing upwards.
Maybe try an experiment:
First few days- give half the amount of water per day and see if they keep drooping. If so, the next few days give more water (1 1/2 as much as you were giving-2 gallons per day) and see if they keep drooping.
As far as what stage they are in- I would say flowering since they have flowers.
The letting them dry out might have worked. It confuses me though because coco should be able to get plenty wet; especially when the plants are pretty much full grown. This run I reused coco and I'm thinking there might have been too much coco peat in it and maybe that is waterloging the plants (I'm not sure if that's even a thing I'm just guessing). I did rinse it and buffer it so if that is the case then idk if I'm going to be reusing coco in the future lol

I do, I will cut out the bottoms though before transplanting them into their final 3gal pots.

Was curious as I’ve always been leery of nets, pods, pellets, sometimes even the rapid rooter plugs and root issues. Not saying that’s your issue. Normally it’s presented sooner. Yours look like they’ve been going strong.

I’ll assume that you will troubleshoot it from the easiest to difficult. Since it’s not perking up after a water, how are your temps and humidity. Is there a fan blowing on them too hard?

I generally use my coco about 3-4 runs before I retire it to the patio and usually plant a super hot or something in it. And it is fine for years out there. I flush it heavily after a run for a couple weeks though. I also add vermiculite to my coco, and perlite. As it retains water longer. I generally find that it stays moist for a good while and doesn’t require constant feeding. YMMV, and I suppose it depends on what is in your coco mix.

I'm starting to think this is all a light issue and I created other deficiencies because I thought it was something else

I had them outside yesterday in the sun and in about an hour they started perking up. After a couple of hours they were back to normal and looked healthy, some leaves were even pointing a bit upward even. It was a warm day too, about 88-90 degrees and the humidity was well over 60%.

I have a lux meter and my canopy inside the tent was reading right around 50k so I thought it would be fine. Does this mean my buds will suffer now? I've never had this issue before unless my plants grew extremely tall and I wasn't able to keep them from getting to close to my lights.

I run 2x 96QB Elites from HLG with a HLG-320H-54A driver in my 2x4 tent. I usually have it turned all the way up and adjust the height according to the plants' life stage. Anyone have any thoughts on this and maybe something I can do in the future to avoid this issue?

Some early training,

Some early training,

Thanks for the link. On this grow though plant height wasn't the issue and I actually LST'd for the first time. For whatever reason I think this strain can't handle my LED's at a lux reading over 50k even though they are clearly in flower.

I usually run about 900 PPFD according to my Photone app in flower.

that equals around 800 PPFD? Sunlight has to be stronger? Assuming you put them in direct sunlight.

If you put them in partial shade and they perked up you may be right about the strain. I usually have good success at around 900 PPFD in flower but this Zkittlez I’ve got going seems to prefer less.

They were in direct sunlight. I didn't check the lux when they were outside, now I think I should've lol

When I mentioned the lux reading I was talking about inside my grow tent.
