==============================
High everyone!

I'm back to post in this subforum instead of threadjacking my own >>Blue Mystic Auto<< grow journal again :D Here is a random update of my current grow with 7 autos between day 45-50 (all planted within 4-5 days of each other).

They are:
2x Samsara Flash Babylon
2x DNA Genetics 60 Day Lemon
1x G13 Labs Northern Lights Auto
1x Dinafem Critical + 2.0 Auto
1x Advanced Seeds Bio Diesel Mass Auto

At this stage the Critical + 2.0 Auto has by far the frostiest leaves and most advanced buds. I hope this is a sign it will have larger buds than the others and not just be done sooner.

Tallest to shortest (height from top of potting mix):

Flash Babylon #1

Flash Babylon #2

I guess the FB#2 is a little taller than the 60D Lemon #1. That must have just happened recently.

All of these were put into germination on the same day and started (were planted from paper towel) within 4 or 5 days of each other.

All of these have been on the same food/watering schedule.

The FB#2 had a an early problem. The cotyledons were stuck together at the the ends; never fully formed. Just a nub of white seed with some half-cotyledons growing out of it. After a few days of no further growth I just had to snip off the remaining seed matter so the half-cotyledons could part and allow the inner "true" leaves to grow up. The remaining growth turned out fine but a lot slower because the seedling lost its boost. This didn't set back the clock unfortunately. The FB's both sexed within a day of each other. The importance of good early-start veg growth for autos is obvious. I am a sad panda.

I don't know why the 1st 60 Day Lemon sucks so bad. It has no excuse. It looks heavy on the ruderalis traits (compared to the rest of them).

Critical + 2.0 Auto: The Front-runner in Bud Production

Bio Diesel Mass Auto: I would have expected this to be similar because its parentage is the closest to Critical of all the others, but nope. Veg-wise the BDMA is 2nd largest but as you can see buds are further behind. CP2.0 is 3rd smallest but buds are the most advanced of the bunch. They all have about the same number of nodes, just a question of stretching.

60 Day Lemon: Second only to the CP2.0 in bud production, both 60 day lemons are at a flowering stage ahead of the rest, even though one specimen is extremely short and the other grew to medium height. These autos really are on a timer set by their genetics. If you have any setbacks, there won't be any 'grace period' for recovery. You get what you get.
