New Grower Day 46, a littte concerned

Hey AFN, I know this is going to be a totally amateur question, but my nirvana ak48 is at 46 days today, looking and smelling very good, but she isnt showing any signs of preflowers. Meanwhile, all the other autos I seed and read about are already into flowering. I know Ak48 is supposed to be a very short flowering strain supposedly so Im kinda wondering what she is waiting on lol. Anybody know if this is normal or is something fishy going on here?

A better question would be if anybody else has grown this strain before and if so how long was your veg?

Hey buddy, nirvana is known to put out seeds that aren't fully auto. They will flower quickly and at more light hours than standard photoperiod strains but they still need a reduction in hours to make them flower. They are called semi autos, or from some companies who release them intentionally they are called fast versions.

18/6 is the standard for autos and if she hasn;t started to even preflower at day 46 I would guess it might not be a auto.

I would try 15 hours just to be safe and also to make it happen more quickly.
