Day 44 of Veg

So Hi, First grow.
Mainlined this supposed BCN XXL AUTOFLOWER, Might been a Mixup of seeds.
I've no idea, anyone have some idea why an autoflower wont flower on day 44?
I know i stunted it but it wouldn't prevent flower.
My thought wasnt to let it get this big, then just when it start to flower I would let it grow upwards, however this havent happend!
I do appreciate every single answer!
4.jpg is before defoil, 5.jpg is after and 2+3 is her new nodes so to say if that is improtant
1.jpg is the day after defoil. Like nothing happend.

They seem ready to pre flower, but at day 44.... Maybe change the light cycle to 12/12.

Yeah I'd love to, but I'm gonna flower out my autos before.
Since I need to change the light cycle from 20/4 down to 12/12 and it will decrease the yeild from the autos.
Unless this is a auto that needs a kickstart, havent heard that one before?

Edit; I moved her to the side , i guess patient is key here, since i assume this is a photo.
Im gonna keep making her big untill the autos are just done i suppose.

I grow every plant, auto and photo on 12/12 in 2 ltr pots...meet their needs for health and yeilds on autos are 1.5-2.5 oz per. No where do you find that autos "require" more...only that they can "handle" it. Increased cost has never equated to the same in yeild.
Only thing that kick starts is 12/12.

Good new tho, took a closer look at during the night/day today i noticed her first Pistol hairs.
I guess she is preflower now then, took 45 days for this auto to flower
