Ok, I have two Green Crack's and a Grapefruit at 42 days flower. I have struggled to keep them all green during flower (adding some veg nutes). I am now seeing rust spots on the leaves.

Is this just normal end of life cycle stuff or do I have a defi?

They have only gotten two full flower feedings, around 1,000ppm, PH has been steady going in at 6.2-6.3, yet I havent check PH coming out in weeks (I know, I know...).

The only thing screwy I have been doing is letting the PM temps get down to around 60 degrees. I did this to facilitate purple calyxes in the GC. It worked. But Muddy did warn me that it might cause a lockout of some kind.

They look to be ready in about two more weeks if I want a heavy indica type stone. Right now the GC is @ 10% amber, 60% cloudy, 30% clear and the Grapefruit is still 80% clear (sativa dom).

Any thoughts?

Some of the browning on the tops are due to light burn a few weeks ago.

I'm having a hell of a hard time believing they're ready to chop at 42 days, but if they're ambering up right I guess they might be done? Are you counting the days from when flowers formed or when you flipped the lights? Whatever is going on they're definitely N dep.

misred the thread heavly :smoke: sorry :D:peace:

this is a learning experience for me as well ...like to see the input that is given here but man they look delicious ...and that would be an amazing harvest that fast !!!!!!!!

I know of 45-50 day strains that contain grapefruit genetics, bogglegum comes to mind, but I've never heard of a verified 42 day! If they really finished that fast from the day of light flip I hope you took some cuts! If you didn't you can still re-vege photo plants.

isnt it said the more u crop the plant it gets stronger ...dunno if its alot of BS but i had heard of it making smaller yeilds but omg better bud .......and ive seen some articles and photos of re-vegging .....

i give up on cloning i seem to suck at it but i dont have the best shit for it either

Ok, ok. I was about 8 bong hits into my morning when I wrote that, so maybe I wasnt very clear...

All three plants (2 GC, 1 GF) were flipped to 12/12 42 days ago. (After a 2month veg and a shit-ton of pre-flowers during 20/4 cycle).

Both Green Crack phenos (green & purple) are showing amber trichs at 42 days. The Grape Fruit is still 80% clear, 20% cloudy.

I planned on re-vegging the purple GC because its so freaking beautiful. But keep in mind these 3 plants were my "throw aways". I have another Green Crack mother that is more indica dom and was waaaaay more robust. Same for the Grapefruit....

and yes, I have clones coming up behind all these plants. I plan on flowering my mothers as soon as their clones show they have taken to the soil ok...

I have found that clones from clones tend to take easier opposed to clones from the seed mother....just my opinion. Might be all in my head.

Maybe I will reveg this green pheno GC. It sis very very dense and trichome heavy.

Thanks bruh! To date, they are the nicest, densest, sugary flowers I have grown thus far. Hoping I can go the distance with them. That Grapefruit will probably test my patience by the end.

Whatever you're doing, you'll get a good yield, but I would be tempted to bring temps up into the 70's to see if that didn't put some vigor back in them.
