Sorry for the crosspost from the Indoor forum...I didn't realize there was a Forum just for Sweet Seeds. But, I'm excited about this grow and want to spread the joy! If the other thread needs to be deleted then I understand
My first ten plants all came from Auto Seeds and this is my first Sweet Seeds grow. I stumbled upon pictures of the "Red Family" and couldn't resist the Dark Devil. Anyways... the rest is pretty much a copy and paste from the Indoor Grow forum.
Well, I wasn't sure if I was going to do a journal for this plant or not. This is my eleventh plant and I've been honing my techniques from one grow to the next. Well, I recently purchased a few new nutrients that I am implementing for the first time into this grow. I usually don't like to introduce multiple new things at once but I had high hopes that things would still go well and they have. So, I took a few lousy pics to share with you guys. I'll take some better ones later when the lights are off.
Here's a quick rundown of my setup:
Space: 3' x 3' x 79"(I think) Tent
Soil: Ocean Forest
Bulb: Genesis 400W HPS (50%-100%)
Container: 5 Gallon Smart Pot (Fabric-Type)
Water: Recycled from dehumidifier
Seed: Sweet Seeds Dark Devil
Anyways... It's Day 32 for ol' Nadine and she looks beautiful. This baby's been growing like two inches a day since its teens... I'm actually getting concerned that it may get too tall. This is to most Sativa-ish plant I've had so far in terms of how much less full and bushy it is (I've been growing Auto Candy Kush's if that's any indication). But, the light penetration is great and it looks like the buds are going to be monsters. As I said I'll try and get some "light off" pics that will adequately do this girl justice because she is becoming a real beauty. Keep in mind, Day 32 and this is how big she is...
I have the rest of my feeding schedule all made up and so far she is loving every drop of what I'm giving her (no burning, slumping, discoloration, etc). It's been my experience that hair length of the forming buds is a good indication of how large they could get, and if this holds true I should end up with a pretty decent yield. Now I'm just curious to see if this girl will actually change colors. Wish me luck guys! Stay tuned for updates!
PS - I have my Feed Schedule saved as an Excel spreadsheet...if anyone's interested in what I'm using in terms of nutes and supplements just ask. It's fairly extensive and it's kinda late so I'm not gonna get into it now.
Blood, Sweat, Tears.
