I feel ya bro, I just battled gnats... I won the battle but I was forced to not feed my girls for several days, to shut off their life-line supply ...I hate pestsI will be adding a auto after I have harvested the white stomper auto an eradicated the broad mites I won't ever spray a flowering plant an won't flower my photos until all bugs die the battle continuesView attachment 828507
It's not an easy battle the broads ,rust ,or russet are extremely hard to battle you won't see them without a 60x microscope an regular insecticides organic or not don't normally work it will appear like nute deficiencys an ph problems some growers fight them for years not knowing I live in a rural place where they seem to be worse then other places, the grape vineyards get them really bad I'm technically surrounded by vineyards an they travel in the wind or hitch rides on flys it will be a problem more growers have as legalization happens the reported cases of such mites has been only in legal states.I feel ya bro, I just battled gnats... Thanks very much made my day I'm going to keep on improving and working towards better meds ,studying an beating these damn bugs .Dank, the buds are some of the best ones ive seen on this forum!
I'm hoping to keep it up friend, more to come ,once I get these super bugs destroyed I will start another auto an see how they respond to some new technics I learned bamboo shoot tea an apple chunk fermented plant juice .Yep , they look awesome .
yeah I have had a bout of them in the past myself.... I agree they a real bitch to get rid of, I had do kinda the same as with gnats, starve the coco(shut of their water supply) and I was also drenching them several times a day, believe it or not, I still am seeing some of course on much smaller scale, because I been doing treatments faithfully now.. But they haven't affected my plant's at all, thank god! as soon as I noticed them I started hitting them hard and haven't really stopped, until zero left... almost there but not quite yet, maybe 2-3 more treatments and will be good, Plus they probably having one hell of a time trying chomp on my leaves or stalk because I add silica which is like them trying eat cement and also coat top of coco with treatment that basically turns it into a sponge like texture. so they can't really do much just be annoying.... I'd rid them though...I only have this issue with smart pots, I never have any pest issue's unless using them stupid things, I forgot why I stopped... I was quickly reminded and after these finish I'm throwing them out and stick with nursery pots..It's not an easy battle the broads ,rust ,or russet are extremely hard to battle you won't see them without a 60x microscope an regular insecticides organic or not don't normally work it will appear like nute deficiencys an ph problems some growers fight them for years not knowing I live in a rural place where they seem to be worse then other places, the grape vineyards get them really bad I'm technically surrounded by vineyards an they travel in the wind or hitch rides on flys it will be a problem more growers have as legalization happens the reported cases of such mites has been only in legal states.
