Try small amounts at first with top dressing it won't usually work fast but can be helpful got any worm castings ?
Start putting a couple cups in a gallon of water an kazam bam you got some great tea add molasses a lil Epsom salt an good for terpy flowers as well.
I wish I had the equipment to brew it up ,but I don't so I just throw it in an ol milk jug an give it some shakes I don't filter it or anything ,an it works great sometimes I throw in a lil guauno or kelp ,fish emulsions ,but very small amounts at first to get a feel of the plants needs an tolerances .
Yes that's true it's a way I started as well ,try putting the castings in water you will be surprised at the vigor you get ,it's way faster results to then top dressing which is a slower way to release nutrients based on the fact it's organic matter going through decomposition,where with teas alot of the nutrients are available to the plant immediately due to water solubility and the microbes are fed immediately,I mix in whole milk,let egg shells sit in a jug of kelp extract an water ,I try to have a probiotic grow an feed the microbes these techniques seem to bring out a larger yield with better medical quality then what I was getting before using more proven organic methods or bottled organic stuff .
That's the truth I love to incorporate quite a few techniques of organic growing to get better results,I believe it's a myth that organic's provides low yields when you feed an multiple microbial life in soil at an extreme rate you honestly can't get better yields sorta mind boggling people think they can improve nature using mad made stuff ,nature is perfection anytime man gets involved it's not improvement.
