- are you special?
great result on the greenhouse look forward to the project.
Are you still thinking of putting up a greenhouse? I'm just starting to put something together here [/QUOTE. Very excited friend I will be purchasing a small greenhouse because the church wants me to have a pre approved design I didn't think they would let me but being sick an legal has its advantages.I now need to save the money to buy one an the things I will need to get it going next year I'm going to run a light dep starting in April .
Yes I hear that it's beginning to get real close an do I got a lot of stuff to get .Being poor an a single dad it would have been better if I had got an answer sooner but I'm more then happy to start the process creating a small lil greenhouse won't be very big but I will filler out .The starting of a dream for me I will be able to show folks next year extremely small scale light deps an pull two harvests a season off a pnw spring an summer should be awesome first part I plan on running sativa last part autos an indicas. That's good to hear...I'm glad you 're getting some consideration and that's cool you get to buy one...I'm trying to get mine together it's coming along but building anything here is a hassle lol...it's getting to be time, or will be be soon.
Fungus nats sure can be annoying in the past I had great results steaming the soil or putting boiling hot water through it .I have seen farmers with steam guns walking around there field steaming the soil so in an agricultural sense its a common practice as you know letting the soil go dry helps but not the easiest task when outside when it's raining.A lil hydrogen peroxide in the water helps fry the eggs an putting cut potatoes on the surface draws em out after all these are root eating insects .Hey there @dankstyle J -- hope your spring is going well.
Haven't check in for a while, so sorry to hear about those bug problems.
Glad the church is letting you grow.
Hope the conditions go well for you.
I have been doing a running battle against fungus gnats.
Have a few, not huge problem, but still not great.
Using mosquito bits in the soil, and a sprinkle of diatomaceous earth
and then clay pellets on top of pots to keep them dry.
Tried diatomaceous earth in a spray on the leaves,
but it messed up the leaves on some of the little seedlings.
Have also done a light neem spray.
Oh, and also have those yellow sticky traps.
But they're still there, just trying to keep them down....
Dish soap helps too I hear... but never when in flowerFungus nats sure can be annoying in the past I had great results steaming the soil or putting boiling hot water through it .I have seen farmers with steam guns walking around there field steaming the soil so in an agricultural sense its a common practice as you know letting the soil go dry helps but not the easiest task when outside when it's raining.A lil hydrogen peroxide in the water helps fry the eggs an putting cut potatoes on the surface draws em out after all these are root eating insects .
