New Grower Danielsaaan’s 6th Grow - Mephisto Double Grape with CoM

Day 8: Still misting topsoil a few times a day. DLI: 15-20. Kind of small, but hopeful!

Two seedlings on the right side of my tent seemed to have slowed down/stopped growing altogether. Seedlings on the left are doing well and look healthy! Odd. I have both oscillating fans on the bottom of the tent circulating air around the bags. Hopefully they work themselves out!

Ambient room temp at 68 during lights on? That's on the low side. The soil temp would be lower than leaf/room temp. Are you running with a dark period? ie. 18/6 or 20/4? During that time the temps drop even more from the light being off. This could also lower the soil temp.

I'm guessing either they're finding their roots, soil temp is low, or too much water. If you can, reset your hygrometer. A low temp of 57 would definitely slow things down.

Agreed. Temps are staying a constant 67-69 and RH: 68-75%. Lights are on 24/7. I can’t get the tents any warmer without blasting the seedlings with too much light, or buying a small heater. Might have to cave in before my next grow and get a heater…thanks for the response, throxic!

I feel like there’s also probably too much water in the pots from when I originally saturated them before planting. Hopefully the fans can help them dry out a bit quicker. Fingers crossed this grow isn’t a total loss!

Day 10: Decided to scrap the grow. First time I’ve ever had to do this. Is the soil okay to try and reuse? Will try to start another grow within the next few weeks. RIP. Feels bad.

That's a shame you decided to scrap it they don't look that awful.... IMO the pots look dry to Stonington should be almost black when wet it is ok to water when dry to the touch.... How heavy are the pots? Once the pots dry out so does the soil life die:thumbsup: I also don't think recharge is not needed out the gate maybe some rooting mycos great white, dynomyco etc... but recharge super charges the soil and Stonington is a tad hot to start

But yes the soil should be fine to reuse
