New Grower Danielsaaan’s 6th Grow - Mephisto Double Grape with CoM

Hey all, it’s time for another one! I’ll be attempting to grow Mephisto’s Double Grape this time around. Soil is Coast of Maine Stonington blend with Coast of Maine amendments. I bought a seedling mat for early on, and I bought an Inkbird to dial in RH. I’ll follow my VPD chart as closely as possible. I included the feed schedule and light schedule I’ll be using as well. Cleaning tent, and soaking seeds and soil overnight. Plan on sowing them tomorrow AM. Fingers crossed!

Hope you have better luck than I've had with the Stonington Blend. Too many stunted plants for my liking.

For this final run with SB, I added some Happy Frog on top hoping for less hot soil causing problems with seedlings etc. It is mildly better than the first two runs. I did ph and I didn't ph. Always the same problems popping up.

I use filtered water and when adding even a small amount of organic calmag, it friggin' burns. I don't have a handle on this product and am going back to the medium I started growing with in 2007. Happy Frog!

Soaked soil with Recharge & Quillaja PH 6.5 for ~24 hrs. Soaked beans for ~10 hrs in RO water. Just sowed. Will update with any signs of life!

Hey man! I just by chance started my first grow yesterday and put 3 Double Grape and 1 CDLC bean in the dirt yesterday as well. Actually made a journal on here as well. I'll be paying attention to your grow cause I need all the tips I can get haha.

All 4 broke soil. Raised and dimmed the light. Per my light schedule, DLI is right around 12.0 right now. Will post later!

Had a few start to break soil last night, but will consider this day 1. Got the Inkbird in action! Set it to 74% for now. With my DLI this low, the tent is a little chilly, but I’ll deal with it. Been keeping the topsoil wet with a spray bottle. That’s it for now!

Day 3: Still misting the topsoil with a spray bottle a few times a day. DLI hovering between 12-15. RH: 70%, Temp: 66F.
