Damn spider mites!!! Help!!!!!

But who smokes cannabis anymore, other than maybe say socially, with joints still good for some such special purposes? I've been using vaporizers for 23 years, and don't know anyone who doesn't use them as their main method. It's the 21st century, and there are better options than smoking.

haha almost everyone i know is a joint smoker...i am the rarity around here with my vape!

Essentially all organic, including plant-derived, substances and materials when combusted form carcinogenic polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), the main ingredient of soot and smoke. I would think cellulose fibers (the main structural component of plant cells and tissues) would burn less cleanly, forming more PAHs from incomplete oxidation to CO2 and H2O, than any residual neem components, which are way much smaller aromatic molecules/structures. Also, you talking about neem in parts per million, billion or more dilute in the plant material. But it's the plant material that is likely more carcinogenic when burned, and there is way more of it than neem!

Simply stated, anything organic that burns is forming carcinogens. If you are smoking, neem residues are the least of your problems in terms of carcinogen exposure.

Gave up smoking and have been vaping for almost a decade... but can't vape cannabis. Flavor is absolutely nauseating to me... concentrates are great, but not a every situation kinda thing... pipe bong or joint... about the same option I had 35 yrs ago?

:toke: Ash-- did we chat about this already? Sorry I missed it here, just been buried until this last weekend,... I think you harvested the ripe buds and made concentrates, right? ... went DEFCON-4 on the tent,..? :amazon:... If you have other plants though, neem oil is not the best for mites,... other mite-dedicated products hit harder, as does spinosad,... Azamax , a neem derivative, works pretty well too, but best results come from a 1-2 punch of combo treatments, alternating,... different killing actions on their physiology! Also, it's critical that you use a wetting agent, which will allow your solution to coat and stick better to the leaves, plus it helps cut through their natural water repellency (especially at that micro-level) and makes for better contact with the solution,... The last 2 years, I've been using a systemic called SNS209 on my OD girls, an organic rosemary oil derived product... basically makes the plant taste bad! I've never had a mite war myself, but thrips, 'hoppers, caterpillars/budworm, aphids,... this stuff works very effectively, only one species of aphid I get seems to tolerate it somewhat, and the main prob' with them is they crap babies everywhere the instant they land,... they still fail to thrive,.... Anyway, the plant breaks the SNS209 down after a couple weeks or so, just stop using for that last stretch prior to harvest,....:goodluck:

Alternating between the neem. Which ill switch with something. I hear optic foliar kills em. I have used that. But alternate between soap iso solution. And straight water bath day 3. Seen several dead ones. None moving. Progress has been made. Cheers. Ill look into sns209

azamax is awesome for pest control fyi.
