Thank you sir . I just measured the ppm of my flower nutrients at 707 ppm doesn't mean shit to me .
depends on the plant, the strain, and time...
when u see people say half strength thats cause the ppm will be lower. gradually increasing it is what you want, then packing it on if it can handle it..

the stuff in the water( 98ppm) is minerals and such...

in soil tho, does ppm really matter? That kinda sounds dumb, but what I mean is that soils different from solution, right?

well yeah.. the medium is a buffer or w/e ... not straight contact, allowing for many changes to occur.... its pointless in soil really..
but its always good to know if your juice was too strong for notes and what not.. but if u follow the recommended stuff on bottle. u should be good 80%of the time

heheh sorry @1939bear ... coffee kicked in now:coffee:

and I don't use meters for anything u see on here lmao & by no means does that mean you shouldn't either...
knowing the ph of the juice and your soil will help @Waira hugely

the other infirmary mans is lucky I cant remember the spelling lmao sorry waira... eekman I think mehhh

No apology necessary it's all in the communication .

shite, no fun in that. Someone needs to give, and figure it out....best of luck...

Hey man good morning I'm loving the picture of the girls on the deck. Looks like a nice cool-cloudy day where you're at. make the best of your day today bro.

Drama has subsided and peace is in order

I use the ppm method. I just like knowing exactly how much I'm using. Its not necessary but I find measuring everything the same way makes for consistency. I find even a 30 ppm difference in cal/mag can be meaningful. For nutes, not so much.

Next . I've noticed that some of the lads use a ppm measurement for mixing nutrients . Is this more effective that using the vendors measurement ??
