This day reminds me of the crazy highs and lows of being a single parent of 2 boys that are almost 10 and 14. Sometimes I wonder if they don't do more for me than I do for them. What I mean is I have ptsd and having them to raise, for the last 5+ years, (really from the time they were borne), has helped me get through life.

Happy Belated Fathers day. You are a true hero father. Every man can make babies but only a hero Dad can raise them. Very proud for you.

The funny thing is most people think I'm their grandfather, since I'll be 59 the last day of July.

Ok, I'm not that old, but I do need a cane sometimes with this arthritis!

Ya, I know what you mean. I'll be 68 last day of Sept. Slowly things start to ache and little bumps are slowing me down. But my life has been magical and I am so happy to be where I am and with my wife and two daughters and two grand daughter. My life is Grand. I can not account for it. I am aware of it and humbled by it
