Well this damn magnetic ballast has now gone through 4 damn timers. Think im gonna have to just start turning the lights on and off myself or leave them on 24hrs.

I've the 1 but I'd really like a 2 but at the same time I want a Grav Labs Fire Button for dabs (£182) Portable unit.
If it is the 2 you have , what it like and how do you rate it?

yes the firefly2 pal the reason i bought this is i have copd my lungs are shot so i only have short breathes so if i was using say a mighty ect i would have a good blast and i would be wasting my product i can hit this and hit it again in 2 hrs and waste nothing and do i rate it for concentrates its awesome i mean i cant recommend it enough but for flower its a ball-ache having to stir it all the time

Two ways to sort it. get a heavy duty timer cheap grasslin timers and their like will fuse it to big a current goes through them.
Normal household timers are not built to take the high inductive loads produced by HID ballasts. If used with an HID ballast - the contacts inside the timer that open and close the timed circuit will overheat and weld together - breaking the timer and leaving your grow lights permanently on.

Get a contactor to reduce the spike in charge which will save your timer.

Second round of the season grow experiment coming along! Great smell, heavy spice and musk, but branching is kinda funky. Yield looks to be around 3-4oz...Early Miss.

100% sun, all through the grow, not a lumen of anything else.
