and a random Boveda post - I don't know if true - but just saw a discussion on Reddit about the potential for boveda's to suck volatile terpene's and other flavors/odors out of curing weed.
I've never heard about this. Has anyone else in here heard this before or know of it?
I've been using them in my curing jars. They seem a really handy way to manage moisture. I'm wondering now....
I've read the same thing. But also read that it's not enough to make much of a difference. I personally think that it depends on the moisture/humidity levels of bud before you use the boveda packs. If your close to the packs level of moisture already it Should be less to pull from buds in theory, right? That's my thoughts anyway. I just started using them. So I'm not that educated on the subject, but what makes sense makes sense.
Speaking of terpenes, in the new book I got, Ed says that when drying and curing, terpenes (some) can be burnt off if your temps are above 68°f/20°c. @Mossy something I found figured I'd tag you. I'll continue to do so if I find tidbits like that if you want. Let me know.
@Mossy have you read Beyond Buds yet?
Has anyone? Probably be next book I purchase, along with the ones I only have Kindle versions of. Need to buy lights for when season (outdoors) is over, but I love books too lol going to be broke with plenty of material to read lmao
I do have a sour crack from mephisto going, under 111w of CFL Bit CFLs won't get me but so far. For what it cost I should just build cob. I do get my CFLs for free but still better off with cob fixture.
