That big Bubblicious I grew could suck up a gallon from the bottom before I could dump one in the top.. crazy how fast roots can take water

Yup. But if they don't root rot can set in quick with no movement and no air. I dumped that one because they were staining and it was time for a good drink.
That's just a little gravy
When I open that pot in a couple weeks it will be solid as if root bound and not drip a drop while the plant grew fine. That mycos is some amazing stuff when it comes to managing moisture to the ball roots.
