People have asked how long I wait to check on my germinating autoflowers, 2 days. Just went a poking around in there. 1 seed had migrated in the medium about 4 inches down. Wouldn't have seen anything and lost it. Its already split the shell, so let's see if it works out. The second seed has just began poking a taproot out, no migration. Now most of the time I do not dig around for genetics and just let it happen, but I want to be sure with these fems. I have tried paper towel method and tier cups, I think for ease of mind I will put the next couple in the tier cups.

Really strange, it wasn't because of heavy watering, because I germ in moist soil and just backfill to cover them up. No force is applied and the hole is only 1 knuckle in depth.
