dark and striped ...u be fine ... u can always do the pinch test ... if seed is easy to pinch between 2 fingers .. not viable ... else it should be good

Well, I left the pots sitting outside after filling earlier and now the first rain storm in forever just rolled through. So looks like for better or worse, the initial saturation of these pots got done with rain water.
