At what point is seed collection and creation, hoarding? I don't think a person could ever have too many genetic options.

You are a collector when you have seed you bought or were given that are too old to germinate because you didnt grow them. :D Having tons of seed is great...as long as they will be plants eventually, instead of being encased in shelled coffins.
 
I sprout all of my seeds at 82-85F and dont find an off male to female ratio
I could usually achieve about 80 to 90% females when germing at around 72. Plenty of variables to change odds a bit. I have had whole rounds of beans all produce males as well. Most of the time though, it happens just the same 50/50. I always wonder what part different Strains play on ratios if any.

80-90% wow!! Thats impressive. For me its usually been 60female/40male.

I think a proper germ test is necessary this fall, some of these may be souvenirs by this stage, but heck 6 years in a fridge is fine
 
Damn fellas...hate to say it but i have to go lay down for a bit...harvested black raspberries(2liters), 2 autos(bloody skunk, DP Auto white widow), and cleaned a bunch of garlic today...i am whipped!! Have a great night/day!!
 
I will have that room some day my friend. That and a walk-in freezer to make my Bubble Hash in all-day.

haha ... yep a dedicated bubble room sound like fun, could use one today... making a 1day batch from what i could save from my mold-ridden dragon
