Current Live Stoners Gossip June/July/August 2017

In the "life will find a way" file....my little croton plant that I chopped down to just a little stump because it was growing funny a few weeks (months?) back is showing nice new growth. Good to know these plants are as hardy as all the stuff I read that made me feel it would work said it would be.


Even more impressive with this actually being the secondary new growth. There was another little sprout like this that was coming out right at the top. But by the time I realized it was happening the cat had bitten it off, spit it out in the pot, and was apparently trying to bury it.


This little plant really has been through heck, but just keeps coming back and growing.... "life will find a way"

The human brain is fickle thing. I find it amazing that we even managed to form societies or any form of non-pack behavior............when the exact same words can mean a thousand different things to a thousand different people, and thats just the ones that speak the same language!!

And we live in the "boonies" because the only thing better than a few neighbors is NO neighbors!

But this mass sensitivity thing is new, people seek to be offended, it's bizarre. I grew up in London, many different cultures, and we all took the piss out of each other, in the UK we call it banter, it can be harsh at times, but it bought you closer together. Banter breaks barriers. You should hear how me and my Iranian work mate talk to each other! It'd make your eyes water

It's a about the craic

I was educated in the 40's and 50's in a rural area. As you can imagine there were lots of kids of different nationality's that arrived in Canada after the war . My school mates were from all over Europe . You didn't have time or the inclination to be racist unless of course you wanted to get the snot beat out of you . Which I did not so for somebody to call me racist is beyond my comprehension .
