Off the cuff discussion topic....

If you've got a seedling in a starter medium that you feel is getting a little stretchy, is there ANY REASON not to bury it a little in the dirt as your transplanting to it's "forever home pot" from the starter pot (or mini-solo cup in this case)? I can't think of any reason not to, but just for grins and since no one is talking about anything tonight anyway figured I'd toss it out to the group.

It's fine, I've done it and no harm done.

Yea...the only maybe reason I've thought up so far not to is that you might break it with the handling of it while burying it a little, but you run that risk just transplanting it anywho, so that's not a very compelling reason to me. :smoking:

Alright just took a peek on her..Scattered burn here and there, nothing to cry about lol The top dressing I added a week or so ago ( which I knew I should of held off on ) but said whatever she can handle it was a little much but she'll get through it. The top dressing is actually the mix I'm going to be growing in next which has been composting for well over 60 days..That mix is loaded to the point you could rock straight water only and cal/mag, so you could imagine adding it as a top dressing it's a beast of an addition..
