Could be a genetic trait, sometimes if a plant has been pollinated they die back early but you don't have any male plants in there..This plant I have now they have been withering here and there but it's normal, I wouldn't worry about it. The white pistils will keep pushing as the others wither.. My top cola that is tied over has a few more withered pistils than the rest but nothing to be alarmed about..I say just stay on course and let her do her thing.
I was curious of this as well.
