I am afraid of smell. The closet is not sealed, and even a carbon filter may not get it all.

I suppose they can, I've never thought to try that at an advanced stage of growth. I'm the guy who hates pruning fruit trees because it must hurt, and who am I to tell that plant how to be itself?
