Good Morning Mossy , Feenix and Stoners all .
Another fine morning , I'm breathing and walking around so life is good . Still a little cool for planting outdoor just yet Mossy and unfortunatly we may not be able to do that this year since I got ripped off last year , that is unless I booby trap my backyard with land mines .

My chickens don't have a preference between a nice crisp lettuce salad..or a nice crisp weed salad for breakfast...and Damn..I grow those weeds Much better than anything else in the garden....so why Disappoint the chickens..

Question, Do wild chickens actually fly distances? Last week for the first time in 12 years I had a rooster in the woods out back just crowing away. at 3 AM. I went out with an LED flashlight and shined it into the woods, not really expecting to see it and didn't but it stopped and never another peep. Would he have been able to just fly away that quick covering enough distance to not hear him again. I've seen them fly in a barn yard but it was more of a short hop.
