nothing better than Mennonite produce and milk. We have a huge Mennonite community. Our state Gov. has outlawed raw milk, so we get it from the Mennonites and it's labled "pet food".
I worked on a ranch in Central America where the local Mennonites would come and barter for the use of equipment. Plow, harrow (sp?) and others that were pulled behind a tractor. They either had a tractor, or bartered for that also, closer to them to save the fuel of driving to their farm. They looked traditional, showed up in a buggy. But I guess they are flexible when it comes to work, opting for the larger yields mechanization brings.
Anybody remember the days when pubs used to have one room for the ladies and one for the men ?? At least in Canada . I went to the pub purposely just so I could experience the difference .![]()
I still remember the first day of first grade and how disappointed I was. We were told to line up for the lavatory. I didn't know what it was but it had to be something new and exciting....
